INSTALLATION & CONNECTION
Install, connect and test in four steps.

Choose the location
Install on a suitable ceiling location, following the distances and exclusions in the user manual.

Secure the mounting plate
Fix the mounting plate with the supplied screws and wall plugs, then insert three LR6 AA alkaline batteries with the correct polarity.

Add to GEYER Smart
Connect the phone to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, enable Bluetooth and location, press TEST twice and complete pairing while the green LED flashes rapidly.

Fit and test
Rotate the detector clockwise into the plate, then hold TEST for about 3 seconds and confirm the red LED and audible alarm operate.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATIONTest the alarm weekly. Keep it away from bathrooms, cooking fumes, strong airflow, dust and fluorescent lighting as described in the manual. Never paint, cover or dismantle the detector.

How does GS-122LH detect smoke?+
It uses a photoelectric sensing principle. Smoke entering the chamber triggers the local audible and visual alarm.
Does the alarm work without Wi-Fi?+
Yes. Local smoke detection and the built-in siren operate independently. Wi-Fi is required for app status, history and remote notifications.
Which batteries does it use?+
Three LR6 AA alkaline batteries. Replace all batteries together with the specified type and correct polarity.
How often should I test it?+
The user manual requires a weekly test by holding the TEST button for approximately 3 seconds.
What does HUSH mode do?+
During a nuisance alarm, TEST / HUSH can temporarily silence the alarm for about 9 minutes when smoke concentration is not excessive.
How many users can access it?+
The device can be shared with up to 20 users through the app.
Where should it be installed?+
